New Problem to Show on African-American TV Shows

I was thinking it'd be better for African-Americans to post common problems on their tv shows. Poverty. For example, the Black character needs $40 in order to get this video game he can't wait to play, but doesn't have enough money to get it. Or, it doesn't have to be about money, but also items Black characters don't own. For example, the Black character doesn't have a wallet, but he needs it to put money in it.
